The City of Howell is now hiring for the following positions:
1.  Seasonal Help - DPW
2. City Assessor
3. Police Officer

The City of Howell is seeking applicants for seasonal help in the Public Works Department; $11.00 per hour.  These positions will be 40 hours per week for the defined season of April 25 through September 30, 2018.  Seasonal work will consist of lawn care maintenance, street maintenance, and other tasks related to public works.  To apply submit completed City of Howell seasonal employment application to the Department of Public Works, 150 Marion St., Howell MI 48843.

ASSESSOR - Salary Updated for 2018:

The City of Howell is seeking qualified applicants for the position of full time MAAO/3 Assessor. 2018 starting salary range is $61,920-$70,526 (DOQ) with full benefit package including Medical, Dental & Vision coverage, Short/Long Term Disability coverage, $50,000 Life Insurance, and MERS Defined Benefit Pension Plan.

The City of Howell is recruiting qualified applicants for 2 Police Officer positions.
2018 Starting Salary:  $44,117 - $45,760/year.
Current maximum salary after 4 years:  $64,646.

Reimbursement of Police Academy tuition:  Successful applicants without active MCOLES licensing may be eligible for this economic incentive reimbursed over a 2 year period after successful completion of the FTO program.
