CITY OF HOWELL
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
FOR TREE TRIMMING & REMOVAL

The City of Howell is requesting “sealed” bids for the annual Tree Trimming and Removal Program.  Specifications may be picked up at the Department of Public Works, 150 Marion Street, Howell, Michigan during regular working hours, Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm, or sent electronically by contacting Mike Luce at mluce@cityofhowell.org

Sealed Bids must be received at City Hall, City Clerk’s office (3rd floor), 611 E. Grand River Howell, Michigan 48843 by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.  Please mark "Trimming Bid" on the outside of a sealed envelope.  If you have any questions, please contact Mike Luce, DPW Operations Manager at (517) 546-7510.

CITY OF HOWELL, MICHIGAN
WATER TREATMENT PLANT – LAB COUNTERTOPS

The City of Howell will receive sealed bids at the City Clerk’s office located at 611 East Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan 48843, up to 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2019.

For all work associated with the removal and installation of lab countertops.

Bids must be sealed in an envelope with “RFP #: 2-WTP-19 Lab Countertops” marked on the outside.

The City of Howell officially distributes bid documents through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain documents from the MITN system are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. If you obtained this document from a source other than MITN, it is recommended that you register on the MITN site, www.mitn.info and obtain an official copy and any addenda. The City of Howell also reserves the right to use any other method of distributing bid information; however, any additional method of distribution will also direct vendors to MITN.

A mandatory site visit is required for all prospective bidders – Call the City of Howell Water Plant at 517-546-5309, Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 am – 2:30 pm to schedule.

Site visits must be completed by Friday, February 22, 2019 at 1:00 pm

Only those who complete a mandatory site visit will be allowed to bid on this project.

The right is reserved by the Owner to accept or reject any proposal, and to waive any irregularities in any proposal, in the interest of the City. No bids may be withdrawn after the above bid date and time for a period of sixty (60) days.
